The Green Life Retirement Residence Inc. takes COVID-19 response very seriously. Following the proper provincial guidelines as well as our own specific guidelines, there has not been an outbreak of COVID-19 or its variants to-date.
Some of the measures we have put in place have allowed us to have a successful covid-19 response:
- Proper screening of staff and visitors
- PPE required for all staff and provided by Green Life Retirement Inc.
- Extra disinfecting of frequently used surfaces
- Visitor restrictions when required & appointment based visitations
- Promotion of physical distancing and hand washing
- Easily accessible hand sanitizing stations
In addition, the new Green Life Retirement Residence building will be equipped with an air handling system engineered to reduce airborne pathogens.
